Trained and educated at the acclaimed London College of Furniture, where he won an ILEA LCF Award with Commendation, and with many years of professional experience at one of London's leading antique furniture repair and restoration companies, Michael Linane is recognised as one of the Country's most qualified and highly accomplished antique furniture restorers.

With a sympathy for materials and understanding of construction that good cabinet makers and craft workers develop over many years of experience, Michael provides the expert knowledge and attention to detail required to restore damaged antiques.

Michael can pick up most piece's from your home and take it to his fully equipped work-shop located in Enfield to carry out the required restoration. A guide estimate of cost's can be provided if you send through digital images (or post photographs to the address given on the contact page) and description of the damage. But this will only be a provisional guide, as you will appreciate a full and precise estimate can only be given once Michael has inspected the piece himself.

If you require a estimate for insurance purposes these can be provided at a charge of 5% of the total estimate, which is then deducted from the final bill when the work is carried out.

With many trade, private and museum customers Michael is the perfect small-scale independent antique restorer required to restore treasure and valued possessions. The scale of his operation also has the added advantage of not being required to charge VAT, saving private individuals 17.5% on the final bill.
